Meet the Admissions Team

Tom Komp, LCSW
Director of Admissions
Mr. Komp has a long and varied set of professional experiences in his career. Mr. Komp began his career as a high school psychology teacher. He later obtained his master’s degree in clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California. After 10 years of clinical practice at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, he acted as a Mental Health Hearing Referee doing evaluations for the LA County Superior. From these experiences and his eighteen years at The Help Group, Mr. Komp has developed a strong understanding of the special challenges and needs faced by our students and their parents.

Jason Bolton, PsyD
Clinical Director of Admissions
Dr. Bolton has worked at The Help Group since 2001. Prior to joining the Admissions Department, he served as the Director of The Help Group’s residential treatment program and later became the Clinical Director of Pacific schools.

Patricia Johnston, MFA
Admissions Coordinator
Ms. Johnson has been with The Help Group for the past 4 years. In her capacity, she receives all new applications, sets appointments, and answers questions parents have about the application process.

Christina Policarpio
Enrollment Coordinator
Ms. Policarpio has worked in the Admissions Department for the past 6 years. She makes all enrollment arrangements once a student has been accepted into Village Glen.
Admission Evaluators
Applicants will be assigned to one of our experienced clinical or educational administrators whose background and experience ensures a prompt, thorough, and thoughtful review.
