Village Glen Schools firmly adhere to the adage that “It Takes a Village to Raise a Child.”  There are several avenues through which parents can be involved in their child’s school life and various levels of involvement within those avenues. For example, Village Glen Schools are very lucky to have fabulous Parent Associations who work hand-in-hand with the schools to support additional enrichment opportunities for our students through fundraising and other efforts. We also have beautiful libraries that are developed by and run by our parents. And, of course, our parents are always avid fans at the basketball games and track & field meets. As in all schools, we have numerous families where both parents work full-time. Even for those families there are opportunities for participation throughout the school year.

 Another aspect of parent participation is annual giving, which is essential to the growth of our schools. Each year we ask Village Glen parents to support the annual giving fund by making a contribution that will go towards additional enrichment activities for our children.

 We are always looking for 100% participation from our families. Whether it is through working at the school, working from home, or contributing through annual giving, every effort makes a difference!!
