My Eagle Scout Community Service Project was to cultivate and landscape 10 large planters and platforms at The Help Group’s Sherman Oaks Campus. The project involved over 130 hours of planning, organizing, communicating, fundraising, and supervising volunteers. Landscaping included 52 plants, 45 large bags of groundcover, and 460 pounds of rocks. The Help Group benefits from my project because the nicely landscaped planters and platforms provide a more relaxing and therapeutic environment for the 500 students who go to school on the campus everyday.
